Qualifications & Education:

• Minimum of second class lower division or its equivalent in an Engineering or Social science discipline from a reputable higher institution


• Possession of relevant professional qualifications


• An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is an added advantage

Knowledge Skills & Experience

• minimum of 12 years relevant experience in similar function in oil & gas of which at least four must have been at a strategic management level


• in-depth knowledge and understanding of core operational activities in the downstream sector with emphasis on supply chain management


• Good knowledge of technical and regulatory guidelines for set up and operations of petroleum storage facilities


• Good understanding of oil and gas industry especially the downstream sector and relevant leading practices in engineering (design, build, and operate) operations, quality assurance and HSE management


• Good analytics, project management, problem solving, negotiation, networking, teaming, leadership, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, presentation/facilitation, and organisational skills


• Appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
