Job Location: Lagos

Qualification(s)

• LLB (Hons) with minimum of second class lower division from a reputable University
• B.L with minimum of second class lower division

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 5 years post call experience acquired from well established law firm in Nigeria or acquired from a reputable private limited by shares in Nigeria
• The right candidate must have a sound knowledge of Nigerian courts civil procedure and practice
• The right candidate must have sound knowledge skills and sound experience in: Litigation in superior courts of records
• Contracts review and negotiation
• Legal drafting
• Business and commercial law (Domestic and International trade law)
• Company law and law of contracts
• Employment and labour law
• Corporate legal compliance
• Immigration and employment law
• Basic Nigerian Telecoms and regulatory matters
• Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel and PowerPoint)
• Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
• Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written
• Must be ready for international project to the other African countries
• Successful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player
• The successful applicant should be good at information gathering and analysis

Responsibilities

• The candidate must have the skills and ability to appraise and negotiate complex contracts/Agreements such as Turnkey contracts, Engineering and Construction contracts as they relate to the Nigerian telecoms projects
• Ability to work independently
• Readiness to travel at any given time (if required)
