The regional representation for west Africa of the centre for the development of enterprise (CDE), based in Dakar (Senegal), wish to have the position of Operations Officer filled by a citizen of one of the west African countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra- Leone, Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Cote d Ivoire, Togo, Benin, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde).

Job title: Operations Officer

Qualification(s)

• University degree: BA/ Masters in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Management, Marketing or allied degrees
• Fluency in French (Oral and written) is a requirement
• Good knowledge of English (Oral and written) would be an advantage

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience acquired in the private sector (enterprise or consultancy firm) or International institution
• Good IT skills (Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• A matured, self- driven, presentable person of high integrity

Key Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the manager of the Regional Field office, the Operations Officer will be responsible for: Identifying, preparing and handling the projects in line with the institutions regulations
• Collecting pertinent information on other stakeholders active in the same field of activities in the region
• Providing assistance in the preparation of programs and other development initiatives
• Executing other related duties as assigned by the Manager of the Regional Office
