Its subsidiary, Glomobile Benin started operations in june 2008 and it has also won a GSM license in Ghana, due for operations soon. Another subsidiary, Glo 1, is in the process of launching 9, 800 kilometers of submarine cables from Bude in the UK to Lagos, Nigeria, with branches in Portugal and West African Countries like Senegal, Cote D Ivoire, Ghana, etc.

Job title: Sales Director

Qualification(s)


  • Minimum of Bachelors degree in Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other relevant discipline
  • MBA, relevant professional courses or any other relevant post- graduate qualification will be an added advantage

Job Experience & skills


  • Minimum of 20 years progressive operational and managerial experience with at least 5 years at senior managerial level in Telecommunications, especially in Corporate Sales Management
  • Proven track record in the development and implementation of strategy for acquiring subscribers

Responsibilities


  • Provides strategic direction for the over all operations of various units to achieve sales targets
  • Monitor and achieve sales Budget
  • Train and develop sales team
