Job Location:Lagos.

Qualification(s)

• Possess a good university degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Science

Job Experience & skills

• Must have 3 years post graduation experience with at least 2 years in a similar accounting function of a reputable oil and gas or shipping organization


• Posses a professional qualification (ACA,ACCA) and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage


• Be good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• To ensure accuracy and integrity of seafarer’s record and documentation management


• Will assist in gathering seafarer’s market intelligence and monitoring and reporting on changes that could impact on manning of NLNG chartered ships


• Will assist in preparation of payment schedules for officers and cadets and handing/processing of adhoc claims for shipboard personnel


• Maintain an up-to-date ‘Employee Record and Statistics’ for NSML fleet manpower (officers, cadet and rating)


• Ensure that officers, cadets and trainees scheduled to join ships posses valid documents required to join e.g. CoC, ENGI, Yellow Card, etc


• Gather and maintain an up- to-date personal record files and profile reports for officers and cadets; update sea services records including their schedule, Bio-data and career progression status, visa status, certificate of competency


• Arrange logistics and appointment for revalidation of seafarer’s document


• Make inputs on payroll for salary administration and payment
