Jobs Detail

Job title: Head, Internal Audit


Reporting to: Finance and Strategy director

Qualification(s)

• Good degree in accounting, finance or any related discipline from a reputable institution


• Higher degree such as MBA, will be an advantage


• Possession of professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA is essential

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years in managerial capacity in similar role, preferably in the FMCG or “bid 4” audit firms


• Ability to analyze, evaluate and review information pertaining to audit and audit reports

Responsibilities

• Have oversight responsibility for the audit unit, ensuring compliance with all internal control processes and procedures


• Drive compliance with all titles of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2006 as it affects the operations of Cadbury across west Africa


• Maintain and execute approved audit schedule which provides adequate audit coverage of all local operations in line with best practice


• Provide leadership, strategic direction and guidelines in the development of internal control framework and ensure that the framework addresses all risk areas and location


• serve as liaison and arbiter on key issues between operational management and internal audit findings
