Job title: Manufacturing Development Specialist

Qualification(s)

• Minimum of B. Sc in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering


• Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment


• Practical knowledge of manufacturing development programme


• Deep technical knowledge of a brewery


• Demonstrable high initiative, be independent and proactive


• attention to details


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all manufacturing activities and influence the implementation of world class manufacturing process, identifying, co-operating and actively participating in strategic improvement initiatives


• Apply value chain and improvement tools


• Train and coach technical staff where the need arises


• Promote knowledge management process
