Job title: Brewing Engineer

Job Location: Osun

Qualification(s)

• Minimum of B.Sc degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering and/or additional business qualifications

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 5years experience in brewing engineering or related field experience at a senior leadership position, preferably in a brewery or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment


• Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage


• Knowledge of WCM/MEP strategies and initiatives


• Familiarity with reliability centered maintenance system


• Proven leadership skills


• Good understanding of brewing operational processes and technologies


• Analytical problem solver


• Influencing ability with regards to asset care

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise


• Optimize production processes


• Optimize plant and equipment availability


• Manage/optimize computerized maintenance management system


• Manage SYSPRO system integrity and optimal usage


• Mentor and coach the shift team


• Facilitate team problem solving and decision making


• Manage human resources


• Compile and Manage asset care budgets for brewing


• Optimize maintenance reliability, availability and cost
