Qualification(s)

• Minimum of B.Sc degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering and/or additional business qualifications

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 5years experience in Packaging or related field experience at a senior line management position, preferably in a brewery or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment


• Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage


• In depth knowledge of asset care principles and good work practices


• In depth knowledge and understanding of packaging raw materials manufacturing processes and critical quality aspects


• Proven leadership ability


• High finncial and system numeracy


• Great communication and team-related skills


• Attention to details


• Good understanding of the principles and practices of manufacturing excellence

Responsibilities

• manage human resources


• Plan resource requirements and implementation of trategic objectives


• Manage plant, process and systems


• Manage productivity


• Translate and implement packaging


• Manage asset care for packaging plant


• Manage occupational health, safety and risks


• Organize/interpret data and operational information


• Compile and Manage Budget


• Authorize weekly/annual production plans


• Coordinate CAPIN/CAPEX justification for Packaging
