The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) is a strategic intervention initiative of the Rivers State Government of Nigeria set up by law. It is currently implementing the Workmanship Technical Training Centre (WTTC) located at Bori, Rivers State in Nigeria, and another initiative of the Rivers State Government.
WTTC is a world-class technical and vocational training centre pursuing accreditation from London City and Guilds and NABTEC Nigeria. It is designed to produce high quality intermediate/medium level technical manpower in different skill fields. The centre therefore requires the service of experienced and qualified manpower in core areas.

Qualification(s)

• Minimum of OND in Electrical Engineering

Job Experience & skills

• 5 years post-graduation experience in workshop practices out of which 3 years hands on experience/knowledge of modern techniques and working practices of electrical engineering associated equipment/tools/devices- lathes, milling machine, block/head resurfaces, pillar drills, surface plate and a working knowledge of industrial 500/720Kva generators


• A hands on experience in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning

Responsibilities

• To assist the Electrical Instructor in safe working practices, to acquiring a Technical Certificate and or City and Guilds International Vocational Qualification up to a level 3 Curriculum


• Assist in delivering quality Electrical Engineering training programme with objective of progressing the trainee to the desired level of competence as set out in the UK International Vocational Qualification Scheme
