The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, IITA, is an International Agricultural Research Institute based in Ibadan, Nigeria. IITA is part of the consultative group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), which is an association of about 50 countries, international, and regional organization. IITA seeks to agricultural production in sub-Saharan Africa.

Research Supervisor jobs are available for suitable and highly motivated Nigerians in the Central Biotechnology Laboratory (CBL) of the Molecular Breeding Unit of IITA.

Jobs Details

Qualification(s):

• A good Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology or related field

Job Experience & Training

• Training in basic principles of Genetics, Biochemistry, and plant Biology are highly desirable


• Exposure to cell and Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics is an added added advantage


• Highly dedicated, reliable, and able to work with minimum supervision
