NIGERIA LNG JOBS: SHIP MANAGEMENT PROJECT ENGINEER

Nigeria LNG Limited is jointly owned by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (49%), Shell (25.6%), Total LNG Nigeria Ltd (15%) and Eni (10.4%).

Nigeria LNG is currently seeking the services of an experienced Ship management project engineer.

Qualification(s):

  • A Chief Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency (Class 1 combined) or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering

  • Not more than 45 years



Job Experience & Training

  • 5-7 years shipping operations experience within an integrated shipping/oil/gas company, of which 3 years’ should be as Chief Engineer on LNG/LPG carriers

  • Have sound knowledge of shipboard machinery and operating systems

  • Possess sound knowledge of shipping operations/management as well as strong financial management skills

  • Have a good project preparation and organization skills

  • Be result oriented with good negotiation, supervisory, coaching, and relationship management skills

  • Have excellent communication skills
