Qualification(s)

• A minimum of Bachelors of Science degree (or its equivalent)with a minimum of second class upper in Accounting, Business Administration and/ or Finance from a recognized university and professional membership of ICAN or equivalent
• Other professional qualifications such as Certified Internal Auditors (CIA)

Job Experience & skills

• Must have understanding of the Insurance industry or similar industrial business and regulatory environment
• Minimum of 3years experience
• Must have Knowledge of sound business and accounting/control practices and computer systems
• Age not more than 30years. Proactive, self motivated, disciplined, assertive, analytical, very energetic with good team leadership skills (must be a team player)
• Higher level of drive, result oriented and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing of the Internal control system, introducing controls and procedures, ensuring compliance with management policies and directives, spot check, review and investigation of claims before payment, routine audit of group operational activities and financial records and reconciliation of bank statements
