Qualification(s)

• B.Sc. (Second Class Lower) or HND (Upper Credit) in Insurance/Actuarial Science, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration or any other Social Science discipline
• Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA)is an advantage

Job Experience & skills

• Professional qualification such as ACII, ACIIN
• Minimum of 8years cognate experience in marketing insurance or financial and allied products
• Ability to interface with decision makers at the highest level for business contacts is essential
• Thorough understanding of business environment and insurance industry issues
• Excellent market and product development skills
• Good communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the branch operations and business development activities
• Formulate and oversee the implementation of various marketing initiative in the branch
• Ensure renewal of all existing policies and customer retention
• Provide excellent customer services by identifying customer needs/ preferences
• Liaise with brokers and agents for business patronage
• Develop effective strategies for marketing company range of products
