Qualification(s)
- A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable university in Liberia Arts, Social Sciences or business related disciplines
- Higher degree M.Sc or MBA will be added advantage
Job Experience & skills
- Membership of relevant professional association is very desirable
- Minimum of 20years post qualification experience with at least 10years in corporate communications and allied industry including 5years in top/ senior management position
- Round marketing communications background and exposure in public relations, advertising, events management, protocol and advisory services
- Demonstrable innovative spirit is a necessity
- Sound and deep knowledge of current industry trends
- Ability to work for long hours with minimum supervision
- Willingness to travel at short notices
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the corporate communications initiatives of the members of group in Nigeria and abroad to ensure coherence and results
- Providing overall strategic corporate communications leadership, direction and guidance to IGI and its subsidiaries, conceptualizing and establishing current, medium term and long range corporate communications policies and plans for the Group goals, co-ordinating the repositioning of the Group for enhanced visibility, higher brand value ad sustainable competitive advantage
