Qualification(s)

• A good first degree in Marketing/ Banking/ Finance/ Economics/ Business studies or related discipline from a recognized institution
• Masters degree in related discipline is preferable
• Professional qualification will be an advantage

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 20years post qualification experience 10 of which must be at management level
• Strong leadership and consensus building skills
• Marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program
• Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with others at all levels in the organization
• Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
• Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
• Trustworthiness, confidentiality and firmness of character
• Foresight and visionary skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee business development activities, develop and administer marketing database which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports etc
• Oversee company electronic marketing, new product and business development/ expansion support
• Preparation and submission of insurance bids on behalf of the company
• Provide technical support
