Job title: Category Sales Development Manager

Qualification(s)

• Must have a minimum of first degree in Science or Engineering

Job Experience & skills

• Have a minimum of 5 years Sales/Marketing Experience in Engineering, Consumer durable products like generators, freezers, fridges, inverters, cars etc


• Be in mid thirties


• Have good analytic skills to analyse trade data


• Have good communication skills


• Love travelling and be willing to travel eextensively


• Be an extrovert


• Be willing to take up higher level of responsibility and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Push emerging categories and NPD products


• Identify channel opportunities and support frontline sales


• Carryout specific market analysis and penetration strategy


• Phase and phase out units


• Activate consumer promotions


• Train and develop trade personnel for technical selling


• Execute competition analysis and report findings
