Jobs Detail

Job title: Internal Auditor- Audit and Compliance

Job Location: Lagos


Reporting to: General Manager, Audit and Compliance

Qualification(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable institution with a minimum of Second Class, Upper Division


• A post graduate course in business administration and/or Membership of ICAN


• Must be a minimum of 25 years old and a maximum of 45 years old

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 2 years job related experience


• A deep knowledge in forensic investigation will enhance the employment opportunity of the applicant


• A robust relevant work experience will serve as an added advantage


• Must be computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Randomly test the extent of staff compliance in adhering to approved company’s procedures and policies


• Carry out physical stock counts both in the territories and Head Office and issues discrepancy reports if overage and surplus are recorded


• Carry out physical examination of the existence of the Company’s fixed assets and regularly codify them


• Regularly carry out spot cash count to ascertain that the imprest system is working optimally


• Witness the receipt of company’s goods at the H/O warehouse and report findings


• Carry out routine audit visits to locations outside Lagos
