Jobs Detail

Job title: Warehouse Assistant - Operations

Job Location: Lagos


Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Qualification(s)

• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in operations/logistics, stocktaking, supply chain or any related field of study from an accredited institution


• Post graduate degree or a diploma in materials management, stock or book-keeping or any other related discipline


• Must be a minimum of 25 years old and a maximum of 45 years old

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 5 years working experience with general knowledge of modern store-room and inventory practices


• Must be computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Conducting the smooth functions relating to requisition, receipt, stocking, and dispatch of goods and supplies


• Organizing the systematic storage of material


• Maintaining inventory of all supplies and making note of damaged goods etc


• Performing all work related duties assigned by the warehouse manager


• Coordinating with transporters and suppliers for the dispatch and procurement of goods


• Supervising the maintenance of warehouse tools and machinery


• Following proper documentation and safety procedures of all warehouse functions
