Job title: Project Manager
Job Location: Abuja
Qualification(s)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, Social Science or any related field
- A master’s degree will be an advantage
Job Experience & skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years working experience specially in the management and implementation of donor funded project, including logframes and deliverables and a demonstrated commitment to media and development in West Africa
- Thorough understanding of best practices in project implementation and media training and strong experience in project management
- Proven ability to analyze and critically evaluate editorial content, identifying strengths and weaknesses in programme content and driving constant improvement in output
- Possess strong oral, written communication, report writing and presentation skills and proficiency in the use of relevant information technology packages
- Experience of operating effectively in difficult, sensitive and often fluid environment
- Evidence of full conversance with the latest project management-related technology
- strong writing skills especially for web audience
- Experience in networking and relationship building
Responsibilities
- The Project Manager will take lead and provide technical direction in line with the execution and implementation policies of the BBCWST and donor requirements
