Qualification(s)




  • A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or equivalent



Job Experience & skills




  • Minimum of 2 years cognate experience

  • Organization and systematic thinking

  • Strong numeracy and ability to understand financial data

  • IT skills

  • Clear and concise writing skills and the ability to handle long and complex documents

  • Interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Flexibility and the ability to work on more than one task at a time



Responsibilities




  • Supervise procurement and maintenance and upgrades of furniture, utilities, security systems and signage for the entire facility

  • Project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors. Investigate availability and suitability of options for new premises

  • Direct and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling

  • Ensure the building meets health and safety requirements

  • Coordinate and lead one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
