Job title: Service Engineers, Electrical

Job Location: Lagos Base

Qualification(s)

• Electrical Engineering degree with knowledge of gas/diesel engine electrical systems

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of gas/diesel engines in Power and Gas operations


• Knowledge of relevant Engineering Codes and standard


• Basic PLC and other Control System software knowledge


• Working knowledge of IEC Electrical and control system standards


• Understanding of Electrical protection, isolations and control system safety integration including installation and inspection procedures


• Practical knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCad, PLC, HMI and SCADA software


• Good sense of safety and security

Responsibilities

• Providing electrical field service activities including commissioning and supervising the erection of Wartsila installations


• Participating in electrical technical discussions and giving technical advice to customers and network companies


• Performing suppliers products and hand-over inspections and providing internal and external reports and as-built documentation


• Implementing quality control requirements for on-site repair and modification work in compliance with Engineering standards
