Qualification(s)

• Mechanical Engineering degree with knowledge of Marine/Diesel Engines

Job Experience & skills

• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Marine and Power operations working on vessels engines and propulsion systems including land-based engines


• Knowledge of relevant Engineering Codes and Standards


• Good sense of safety and security

Responsibilities

• Providing mechanical field service/survey assistance as directed on land and marine based applications


• Providing commissioning, overhauling and other service activities for Wartsila installation


• Performing workshop and repair services as directed


• Participating in technical discussions and communicating with Wartsila product companies


• Providing internal and external reporting and as-built documentation and other discipline-related data administration
