Job title: An Associate

Job Location: Kano

Qualification(s)


  • BSc. (Textile Science and Technology) or BSc. (Chemistry Hons) or Industrial Chemistry; or B. Eng. (Chemical Engineering) at- Second Class Upper Division. MSc. In any of these fields is an added advantage

Job Experience & skills


  • Experience of practical work in any of the above mentioned disciplines will be an added advantage
  • Practical Project Management experience is not essential but would be an added advantage
  • Project duration 2 years

Overall Job Aims and Duties


  • You will play a key role in managing and implementing strategic development and transferring knowledge between the business and the university. You will be responsible for the delivery of all project work
  • Develop a project plan from initiation to closure
  • Monitor and track project milestones in order to ensure the following outputs
  • Report on project progress in particular and project milestones in general
  • Documentation of processes, specification and standards
  • AKTPZIL: The project is focused on investigating the production process and potential attributions to chemicals involved and exploring alternative processes and/ or chemicals to prevent quality problems
