Job title: Policy, Advocacy and Gender Technical Advisor

Job Location: Benue, Ogun and Akwa Ibom

Qualification(s)

• Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential
• Post graduate degree in a relevant field is essential

Job Experience & skills

• A minimum of 7 years working experience preferably in the social development field is essential
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position is essential
• Experience of the Nigerian policy environment as it relates with Gender and HIV/ AIDS is essential
• Experience in HIV Prevention and Gender mainstreaming I desirable
• Excellent computer application skills is essential
• Excellent oral and written communication skills is essential
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills is essential
• Excellent skills in policy analysis and interpretation is essential
• Creative and takes initiative
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
• Willing and able to travel
