Job title: Head, Security

reports to: Chief human resources and administration officer

Qualification(s)

• First degree
• Retired army personnel major- colonel

Job Experience & skills

• Knowledge of all aspects of security
• Knowledge of Nigerian legal procedure
• Previous experience in security matters
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational and analytical skills
• Honesty and reliability
• The ability to work on your own and take initiative
• Flexibility and adaptability
• An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee a network of security operatives and vendors
• Identify protection goals, objectives and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan
• Manage the development and implementation of company security policy
• Physical protection responsibilities will include asset protection and workplace violence prevention
• Oversee incident response planning, investigation of security breaches
• Work with outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits
• To provide physical security and safety for employee, key facilities and assets
