Job Experience & skills
- Solid understanding of the Nigerian financial services sector, macro economy and capital market
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects, exceptional analytical capabilities and research skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills, along with the ability to interpret research findings so that the audience benefits from actionable insight
- Strong preference for candidates with demonstrated research leadership experience in financial services
Responsibilities
- The research unit is responsible for providing strategic recommendations by generating fundamental research and analysis of companies, industries, market and economies. The head of research will report directly to the chief strategy officer and will have strategic and operational responsibility for a team of experienced research analyst
- Perform market research and assist in the development of competitive and business intelligence research and analysis
- Formulate industry forecasts and provide opinions on industry trends
- Lead, manage and grow a team of research talent and a series of research projects
